Geography:

The Pons family is based in Baix Llobregat , which is part of the Valls d'Anoia-Foix. The area is defined by a wide valley located between two mountain ranges: the "Massís del Garraf" and the "Serralada Prelitoral". The valley slopes gently from the Montserrat rock massif in the north towards the sea, where it opens into a characteristic hilly landscape shaped by the Anoia and Foix rivers, from which the area takes its name.

Climate:

Temperate Mediterranean climate, protected from the north winds by the Montserrat massif. Mild winters and not too dry summers.

Land:

Calcareous clay with low organic matter index and varying water retention capacity.
