In this tasting box, we have put together 6 different cavas from 3 different houses representing different grapes, aging and sweetness so you can get a feel for the range of cava.

1 x U mes U Sador | Stored for 30 months.

Organic straw yellow cava with golden hues. Discreet, honeyed and fine in profile with aromas of white peach, mandarin, pear and freshly baked croissant - focused on delicate fruit rather than anything heavy, herbal or tannic. No dosage or harshness - just a harmonious and unusually well-balanced wine. Macabeu (30%) | Parellada (15%) | Xarello (55%)

1 x Miquel Pons Reserva Brut | Stored for 24 months.

Organic, straw yellow cava with golden hues and elegant bubble release that forms a perfect crown in the glass. Spicy aromas of ripe tropical fruit, intense and persistent. In the mouth a mild taste of aging, accompanied by a creamy and well-integrated bubble. The added expedition liqueur completes a unique and original bouquet. Macabeu (45%) | Parellada (10%) | Xarello (45%)

1 x Miquel Pons Reserva Semi-Sec | Stored for 18 months.

Made from the grapes Macabeu (40%), Parellada (20%), and Xarello (40%). Pale yellow color with greenish reflections. In the nose, the fruity aromas also give way to aging notes. In the mouth, the white fruit, the light touch of toast and the delicate freshness appear together with the creamy small bubbles that are so typical of Miquel. A fine cava for an aperitif or as an accompaniment to, among other things: Dessert or Asian cuisine, where traditional wines can have difficulty capturing spices such as chili, ginger and galangal.

1 x Ortus Gran Reserva Brut Nature | Stored for 30 months.

Light color with red reflections from the Pinot Noir grape ( Pinot Noir (100%)) . Small and well-integrated bubbles, balanced aromas of blackcurrant, strawberry, red currant and raspberry, deliciously creamy in the mouth and long on the palate. Produced without sulfites.

1 x Forns Raventós Rosat Brut Nature | Stored for 18 months.

Made exclusively from the Pinot Noir grape. It has a beautiful currant red color with light tones. Aromas of red fruits with roasted notes from the aging. On the palate it is extremely elegant, balanced and tasty with an acidity that gives a long finish full of nuances. Very fine, soft and persistent bubbles.

1 x Nodal Gran Reserva Brut Nature | Stored for 50 months.

Forns Raventos Nodal Reserva Brut Nature Macabeu (30%) | Pinot noir (10%) | Xarello (60%) is a serious organic cava. In the glass a clean and light color with golden tones, fine and persistent bubbles. The nose smells discreetly of hazelnuts and melon. The mouth is dry and complex with a hint of petroleum notes like ripe Riesling. Good acidity and a small phenolic bite at the end. Not a pleaser bubble for a wedding reception, more of a food wine for e.g. aged and creamy cheeses, preferably with a rim. Produced without sulfites.
